Sosai Oyama Masutatsu (1923-1994) the founder of all Kyokushin is pictured above. With Dan grades in Goju Ryu, Shotokan, Judo and advanced training in Daito Ryu Aikijutsu, Sosai went on to found a Karate dynasty unrivaled by any style, or system. There are many offshoots of Kyokushin around the world, but all pay their respects to the founder.
