The Orchard Towers Kyokushinkai Karate Dojo is the Honbu (or Head) Kyokushinkai Karate school for the following areas: South East Asia; Middle East Asia and Central Asia.

The Chief Instructor at Orchard Towers is Shihan Peter Chong, Hachidan, or 8th degree black belt, Executive Council Member for the International Karate Organization Kyokushinkaikan, and the Chief Instructor for the whole of the Singapore Oyama Karate Kyokushinkaikan.

Shihan Peter Chong conducts the SOKK senior belt training each month, and is pictured with students (at left) after conducting advanced training at the beach.

The Head Instructor is Shihan Jackie Chong, Godan, or 5th degree black belt. In addition, there are several more qualified instructors and sub-instructors attending to the classes.

We in Kyokushin Karate-Do do not promote or practice discrimination or prejudice based on ethnicity, race, nationality, politics, philosophy, religion, sex or age and recognize that everyone has the same rights. Our greatest pursuit is to reach for the goal of international friendship and world peace.

In keeping with our current upgrading of our facilities in Orchard Towers we will strive to provide you with the best possible information on our Dojo, and on both our National and International Organization.

We are making a number of new facilities available to students, as well as expanding opportunities for top quality instruction. As part of our commitment to this endeavor, Orchard Towers Dojo has upgraded some of our equipment, largely with the safety of the trainees in mind. For example, the Dojo recently purchased a set of brand new mats for the trainees.

The purpose of Kyokushinkai Karate-do is not only to strengthen our individual hearts and minds, but also to bring peace to the world through a better understanding of one another.
